How AppSprite uses the Google Ads API

AppSprite develops and operates mobile games, including PopDash / Star Blast. We use the Google Ads API only to retrieve reporting data from Google Ads accounts owned and managed by our company.

Private, read-only internal reporting. This is not a public advertising platform, agency tool, or third-party SaaS product. No external customer can connect an account or access the tool.

Business purpose

Our private operations dashboard combines advertising cost reports with first-party app performance data so our internal team can evaluate campaign efficiency, reconcile daily spend, and make budget decisions. Automated daily reporting replaces manual CSV exports and reduces transcription and currency-conversion errors.

What the integration reads

Campaign and ad group identifiers and names
Dates, account currency, cost and budget reporting fields
Impressions, clicks, conversions and campaign status
Aggregated breakdowns required for internal performance reporting

What the integration does not do

It does not create, edit or delete campaigns or ads
It does not manage users, billing or payments
It does not provide keyword research to third parties
It does not sell, license or share Google Ads data

The integration uses OAuth 2.0 and a Google Ads API developer token. Credentials remain on our access-controlled server and are not exposed in browser code. Dashboard access is restricted to authorized AppSprite personnel.

Data handling

Google Ads reporting data is used solely for AppSprite's own campaign measurement and internal business decisions.
We request only the reporting fields needed for daily and historical analysis.
Data is retained only as necessary for internal reporting, reconciliation and operational analysis.
We do not use the API to access unrelated advertisers or make Google Ads data available to external users.
We comply with the Google Ads API Terms and Policies and will update our application before materially changing the tool's use.
